The Tattoo

Here it is!
The symbols are a style of Chinese calligraphy called "Grass Style". They are very fluid representations of Chinese symbols. The top symbol is a description of definition of the Tao or Way. It signifies the course of a river as it flows from one place to another. So Tao could be defined as: The way of water or the way that water flows.
The second and third symbol put together mean: To do without doing, or action without action. This means that everything is accomplished while nothing is "done". (and about 100 other things)
The symbols put together refer to those who follow the Tao accomplishing all things while "doing" nothing.
They are reproductions of characters made by Al Huang.
I spent six years planning this tattoo!
