I'm trying to make my blog-writing a habit because as of now, it is like pulling teeth!
Sadly, the first reported case of bird flu hit the U.S. this week. (see photo below)
It is just a matter of time before it spreads.
but seriously folks!
Here is a sure-fire way to get bird flu if I ever saw one!

This weekend our final Lesley class begins. It looks like it will be very good - wikipages, blogging, and open source!

open source are programs or software that are free. For example, Open Office is the open-source version of microsoft office. The GIMP is an open-source version of Photoshop.
No, I think they build the programs from scratch like any software developer would do, but don't charge thousands of dollars to sell it.
They feel that it shouldn't cost thousands to have a good word-processing program or something to edit photos!

Its just starting to get REALLY big. (I figure that if I've heard about it, it must be getting big)
